Igari Makeup Trend (イガリマイク)

I've never really like American beauty trends. For me they seem too unnatural and time consuming and never match my very pale skin tone. As of late, contouring has really become the top beauty trend in western countries along with high arched and defined brows, matte foundation and strong eyeliner and maybe a matte colour to go along with it all. I have always liked the Korean style straight eyebrow, soft eyeliner and more pastels and pink shades. I starting to do my daily makeup like the Japanese beauty trend Igari (イガリマイク) . It's supposed to look like right after one too many drinks with the flushed cheeks or can be described as a youthful healthy glow.

It's very popular among girls all over japan, as they want to look naturally beautiful. Sometimes i see high school girls at the train station put on makeup Igari style after school before they meet up with their friends or what not (as you may know makeup at school in Japan is usually never allowed). This look really started off in Shibuya, Tokyo; as many girls would use heavy blush just under their eyes making almost a surreal look. I remember seeing this style for years but it wasn't really under a name then. This look is super common in Japanese fashion magazines like Larme, Zipper, Popteen and of course FRUiTS.

Very simple aspects of the look:

♡Pink blush on the apples of the cheeks, extending close to the bridge of the nose, just under the eyes as well.

♡Soft, natural eyebrows

♡Natural eyes with dark brown tight lined on the top lid.

♡Light Pink or coral tone eyeshadow, can be shimmery.

♡ pink lips (usually gloss)

Basically, if you follow these points you should have your own Igari makeup look!
